A portrait aimed to highlight their precious features that are so very special to you.
I fell deeply in love with these portraits after having my own children. So in awe of their little noses, the way their cheeks look when they smile and of course the sparkle in their eyes. It broke my heart to think they would change so quickly. These simple images are some on my absolute favorites with the focus solely on their sweet faces.

Each session will include 5 digital images delivered in an online gallery in both color and black & white. Wardrobe can also be included upon request. Prints available for purchase.
Frequently Asked Questions
What age is the best for heirloom photos?
Children age 8 months to 8 years old is typical. Baby needs to be able to sit up unassisted. It is never too late to capture your beautiful child!
What if my child won’t sit still?
None of them do! I build in plenty of time to warm up, play and explore. If your little one likes to stay on mom, we can work with that too, having you sit right by them with your hands around them.
What should my child wear?
The classic heirloom look includes a simple shirt or dress with a Peter Pan style collar sometimes including lace details. Your child can dress however you choose! I also do currently have a limited client wardrobe, so please reach out if you are interested in wearing one of the pieces I own, and I can send you the options I have in your child’s size.
How long are the sessions?
Sessions are typically scheduled for 30 minutes to include a wardrobe change (if needed) and plenty of time for warming up. I typically only shoot 5-10 minutes of that timeframe.
Can I include multiple of my children in the session?
Yes of course! I can include 2 children in a typical session and would add on some additional time for more than 2 children. Each child beyond the first adds $100 to the session fee.
What locations are you offering sessions?
Sessions are currently being held in Winfield, IL, but my set up is mobile, so I can come to your home or utilize a studio near you as well. Travel and studio fees may apply.
